Paranormal Phil started his online talk radio career in November 2011 with his show called PRT Paranormal Talk. He started doing the show just as a hobby after his friend Steve, who had an online talk radio show inspired him to do his own show. Taking that inspiration and modeling his show after one of his favorite night talk radio shows, Coast to Coast am, he took the show from one night a week to three nights a week and had quite a few guest on the show. The show was also heard all around the world and had many listeners from Australia to England.
In just two years of the show starting, he had a good fan base but that all came crashing to an end in 2013 when his mothers health got worse and he had to give up doing the show regularly to take care of her. He still continued to do the show every once in a while but the financial strain took its toll on him and could not do the show that much. He would do the show when he could but couldn't afford to do all the stuff that was required to run a show like he had. When his mother passed in 2014, he took even more of a financial hit and as much as he tried to continue to do the show, he gave it up trying to survive. He still did a show here and there when he had time but not like he had in the past. On January 12th, 2016, he signed off the air for good as the host of PRT Paranormal Talk with one last show, his annual prediction show which he had done every year since starting. In 2017, he returned to radio with a new show called Talk in the Night and taking a page out of the Coast to Coast am play book, he interviewed many guests of different genres, some of who have been on Coast to Coast am. He continued to do the show three days a week with two of those days interviewing guests and Friday nights for open lines. Things were going good until the first part of 2018 when he decided to make a life change and moved to Texas from California so the show stopped once again. Since moving to Texas, he fought and clawed his way back to once again doing the show 5 days a week, this time professionally as a career with Monday thru Thursday being for interviewing guests and Friday for Open Lines. The show starts again on March 21st 2022. |
